Goodbye Olivia :'(

The doctors told us today that we should start saying goodbye to Olivia. She has developed severe pneumonia and her tiny little body won't be strong enough to fight it off. They are treating her with antibiotics but they are holding out much hope. It tore me apart inside to walk out of the hospital knowing she could not be alive the next time I see her. I don't know how I will do this.

  1. Oh my!!!!
Father, I come to you and pray that you will touch Olivia and heal her from this pneumonia. Lord, we don't always understand why things happen, but we do know that you are always their for us. Father, I lift mommy and daddy up to you, Father please just let them feel Your presence, and give them Your peace which surpasses all understanding. Father, I pray for Addisyn, and Savannah be with them and help them to be strong and healthy for their sister. Lord I ask that your angels be with Olivia, comfort her and I ask again that you will touch her and heal her. I pray all these things in Your precious and Holy name, in Jesus name I pray amen....
I am praying, praying, praying I am so sorry. ((((hugs)))) Kay

  6. My 8 year old son has taken a special interest in your little girls' journey. He prays for them every day and asks me to check your blog and tell him what's going on. He has such insight for one so young. He prays that God will make them strong and healthy, but if it hurts too much that He take them to heaven and hold them. Thank you so much for the privilege of praying for you and your family. We continue to pray for God's grace on your Little Blessings and strength for you and your family. God Bless and remember that prayers are going up all over the country for you.

  12. Lord, I come to you asking for this mama to give the right words. I know You alone are the Healer, You alone. You make all miracles possible. Please put Your hand on tiny Oliva and heal her body. Let her parents know that You are there, and please Lord, give her them stregnth that they need. We know that You can move mountains. Lord, let Oliva show them wrong as she has so far. In Your name I pray, amen.
I'm not much of a prayer 'writer' per say, but I am a prayer warrior! I will pray, pray, pray for that tiny miracle baby that you have that is surely a fighter!! You have my prayers mama!!

  14. Praying so hard for all of you still. I lit a candle for each of your girls as I said a prayer this morning, and said an extra little prayer for Olivia as well. She has been strong and beaten the odds thus far, and I hope she continues to do so. Much love your way.

  18. This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us. And if we know that he hears us—whatever we ask—we know that we have what we asked of him. 1 John 5:14-15

Heavenly Father, I ask that You would touch Olivia. Lord let Your healing flow into her today, this very moment. God that You would let her be a living testimony of You healing grace. Father, I know that You are able and I trust You. God I ask that you would give Jenn and her husband peace during this time. Lord Your word tell us to ask in Jesus name believing and we shall receive. So Lord according to Your word I pray that You would heal Olivia's body. Let Your name, Jevohah Rapha, ring forth in that hospital that You are a healing God. In Jesus' name I pray. Amen

Hunny, I will continue to pray for you and your family.

  19. One thing to remember, and my friend, the Dr said this. We are doctors, we are not God, we are to prepare you for the worst and hope for the best. There are still miracles. Father, as you say, when two or more of us come together in your name, it WILL be done. As you can see, we are all unified in this prayer for Olivia. Father, strengthen her body and provide comfort for her parents and sisters. We trust YOUR perfect will. In Jesus Name, Amen..

  20. I am praying for her healthy and speedy recovery. I read your post yesterday, and searched net for this URL so that I could check how she is. I believe in my heart that the brave lil fighter will overcome this, let doctors say what they want. They only scare us premie parents!

  22. Please consider giving your infants vitamin D drops. It is completely underestimated in it's value to health. Low vitamin D has been linked with both preeclampsia and early term birth. You can read more at www.mercolaD.com or www.vitaminDcouncil.org.
