Addisyn got out of surgery yesterday. They removed 4 inches of her intestine and put in an ostemy bag. She's on heavy duty pain medication but she's stable. The doctor says she's not in pain but I can see her wince every now and then. It kills me to see her hooked up to even more tubes and wires. They've stopped the feeding tube feeds and are giving her nutrients through IV. I'm so scared for what lies ahead of us but so relieve she made it out of the surgery. She's one strong little girl and proof that God does work miracles.

I need to say a VERY big thank you to anyone and everyone who has kept us in your thoughts and/or prayers. Gabe and I find your words comforting when we have nowhere else to turn. Thank you, Thank you, THANK YOU!

  1. I am so glad to hear that she made it through the surgery. I hope she continues to improve and all goes well!

  2. Jenn- I've been following your blog since you posted on the January '11 BBC board. Your strength is inspiring. I love that you are blogging more, I often think about you guys and wonder how the girlies are doing. I'm praying constantly, let us know how Addisyn does!

  3. I found your blog through BabyCenter awhile back, and I just wanted to let you know that we are praying for your family.

  4. This is a fake blog! She is a fourteen year old girl PRETENDING to have triplets and making a fool of those who have lost a baby!
