Addie and Savannah are 100 days old! Wow!
Addie is doing better. Her A's and B's are back which isn't good but she doing better today than the last couple days!
Savannah is absolutely amazing! She was weighed again today and she hit 4 pounds!! Actually 4 pounds 1 ounce! They are going to switch her from the CPAP to a nasal cannula tomorrow! I'm absolutely terrified to know that we could be bringing her home in a couple weeks.

Doing Better!
Sorry I haven't updated in a while! Addie has had a couple rough days so I wanted to be with her. She seems to be doing better lately though!
Savannah is doing absolutely amazing! She now weighs 3 pounds 15 ounces! YESS! She's almost 4 pounds!! The doctor says she could be coming home around April 25th (which was my due date)! I can't believe she could actually be coming home soon!!!
Tomorrow will be 100 days in the NICU. These have been the hardest, greatest, stressful days of our life! But everything we've gone through is all worth it for our baby girls!

Hope
Addisyn has hope!
She's made it through the first twenty four hours after her NEC surgery. One of the nurses said the first twenty four hours are the hardest. Hope isn't something we've had a lot of lately. I still hate seeing her hook up to the wires and tubes and it breaks my heart a little more each time seeing her like that. The doctor tells us that she's in very little if any pain but I still can't help but hurt inside when I see her wince every now and again.
Savannah has been doing awesome! She's up to 3 pounds 8 ounces now and developing amazingly well! She smiled at me this morning as if to say "No worries Mommy, Addie's going to be fine. Olivia's watching over both of us!"
The pain of missing Olivia is definitely still in both, Gabe and I's heart but the healing process has begun and I know she's watching over her sisters.
Thank you for all the thoughts and prayers!

Stable
Addisyn got out of surgery yesterday. They removed 4 inches of her intestine and put in an ostemy bag. She's on heavy duty pain medication but she's stable. The doctor says she's not in pain but I can see her wince every now and then. It kills me to see her hooked up to even more tubes and wires. They've stopped the feeding tube feeds and are giving her nutrients through IV. I'm so scared for what lies ahead of us but so relieve she made it out of the surgery. She's one strong little girl and proof that God does work miracles.
I need to say a VERY big thank you to anyone and everyone who has kept us in your thoughts and/or prayers. Gabe and I find your words comforting when we have nowhere else to turn. Thank you, Thank you, THANK YOU!

So Scared
Addisyn's bowel rupture this morning so she is going into surgery shortly. I'm so scared because the survival chance is only 10-15%. Please pray for our baby girl!

3 months
Sad day today.
They x-rayed Addie and she definitely has NEC. She's on major antibiotics since yesterday had 1 platelet transfusion yesterday and 2 so far today but the doctors think she'll need more tonight. They are x-raying her every hour to hour and a half but so far nothing has changed. The docs think they caught it early but I'm so scared she'll have to have another surgery. The chances of making it out of this surgery are 10-15%. My poor baby girl has been miserable all day.
Savannah's doing absolutely perfect.
